So many of us want to turn back to the desert when we have to use our God-given strength and courage. In the Promised Land, you’ll have reason to be strong and courageous. (Any time God tells us to “be” something three times before we need it, you’ll have a reason to be it.) For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. This is my command – be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. Listen to the God’s truth and not your feelings. Open yourself up to what only God can do even if you can’t.
